Roles and Responsibilities

Must Have Skills
- Hands-on programmer with ability to write idiomatic code
- Strong preference to write automated tests (across all levels)
- An eye for detail with an ability to straddle between high-level architectural decisions and corresponding implementation choices
- Prior experience in designing & deploying Microservices & performant REST APIs
- Experience designing cloud-based, distributed & fault-tolerant services
- Good understanding of CI/CD
- Experience using one of the server-side Java frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Ability to design data models for both traditional RDBMS & NoSQL databases
- Understand multiple perspectives - design, product, support, etc.
- Prior experience leading teams and ability to mentor them on good engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills

Nice to have
- Experience interacting with customers
- Prior experience in Test-driven Development (TDD) practices
- Experience working with AWS
- Exposure to Angular or React
